South Perri Road

In 2023, Mainline successfully delivered a grid route comprising over 11 km of 400mm² cable between Substation W and Substation B, around Runway 10R/28L (the South Runway) at Dublin Airport.

The works included the installation of multiple joint bays with associated pit furniture, cable terminations at both substations, and the testing and commissioning of the final cable system. A significant Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) requirement was managed via the DAA’s ACC portal, with all documentation and quality requirements delivered seamlessly as part of the works package, on time and to a high standard.
