Mainline continue to support the safety campaign, ‘No Time to Lose’ aimed at raising staff awareness into the causes of occupational cancer. In association with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) we have pledged our support to the campaign.
In recognition of Mainline’s participation in supporting the campaign IOSH have awarded a certificate as recognition to the first two hundred companies worldwide who signed up and pledged their support, Mainline being one of the first two hundred.
Over the summer we are currently highlighting the risks from solar radiation to our work colleagues whom work outside in the sun. We are currently displaying information on all office and site notice boards, have completed briefings with staff on how to recognize the issues as well as issued over forty sets of safety sun glasses as well as the distribution of sun block screen with a protection factor of fifty.
